First post on my very first blog, which is quite exciting - and a little bit scary too!
I guess I should start by telling you a little bit about myself...
My name is Jessica, which you may have guessed, and Im studying Textile Design in a little place called Hull. I specialise in print design but dabble in a little bit of mixed media/stitch too. I'm still discovering my own style and have just recently discovered a love for surface pattern and CAD designing, so just experimenting with mark making and scanning them in to make digital collages - which is also exciting!
Im hoping that I can entertain you with a few interesting tid-bits of my life, and other things I find interesting, as I take a year out from university whilst also doing a little bit of self promoting of my work and projects I'll be working on - let me know what you think!
